TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom	Try This...
	Radios are too close; they must be at least five feet apart.
Heavy static or interference	Radios are too far apart or obstacles are interfering with transmission.
	Refer to “Talking and Monitoring” on page 27.
	Recharge or replace Li-Ion battery. Extreme operating
Low batteries	temperatures affect battery life. Refer to “About the Li-
	Ion Battery” on page 14.
	Check that the radio/battery is properly inserted and check the battery/charger
Drop-in Charger LED light	contacts to ensure that they are clean and charging pin is inserted correctly.
