Erasing the Phone’s Local Configuration

		You can reset the IP Phone’s local configuration if required. The local	Administrator
		configuration is the last updated configuration you performed using the IP Phone
		UI or the Aastra Web UI. Performing this action results in losing all recently
		user-modified settings. For more information about local configuration, see
		Chapter 1, the section, “Configuration File Precedence” on page 1-22.

Step	Action
1	Press	on the phone to enter the Options List.	Options
2	Select Administrator Menu and enter your Administrator Password (default is 22222).
3	Select Erase Local Config.
4	For 53i:
	The “Erase local config?” prompt displays.
	Press # to confirm.
	For 55i/57i/57i CT:
	The “Erase local config?” prompt displays.
	Press Erase to confirm.
