Password saves a 10-digit Password which is necessary only if

 

 

 

you want to use the Remote Message Retrieval function.

Turns Interrupt ON and OFF.When using the Q90, only one

 

 

 

person can type at a time.When turned ON and you are

 

 

 

sending, the Q90D will pause every 20 seconds to allow the

 

 

 

other TTY to interrupt your transmission.The Interrupt

 

 

 

function lets you ask the other person to stop typing.When

 

 

 

turned ON, this key briefly displays INTERRUPT! on the screen

 

 

 

and flashes the RING FLASHER to alert the person on the

 

 

 

other line to stop typing.

F10

This function does not apply to Q90D.

PLS HOLD sends the PLS HOLD message. If pressed when

 

 

 

OFF LINE, it causes the Q90D to go ON LINE.

Hello GA sends Hello GA message when answering a

 

 

 

telephone call. If pressed when OFF LINE, it causes the

 

 

 

Q90D to go ON LINE.

A

(Smile) sends the (Smile) message. If pressed when OFF

 

 

 

LINE, it causes the Q90D to go ON LINE.

 

 

 

 

 

CTRL

Z

..Ha Ha Ha. sends the ..Ha Ha Ha.. message when ON

 

 

 

LINE. If pressed when OFF LINE, it causes the Q90D to

 

 

 

go ON LINE.

 

 

 

 

 

Ctrl

B

Transmits the entire conversation memory to another

 

 

 

TTY. Note:This function takes approximately one hour

 

 

 

to execute. Hi-Speed cuts the time in half.

 

 

 

 

Secondary Functions Using with Both the Shift and CTRL Keys

The following four (4) functions, which use three (3) keys, are listed on the keyboard above the F11, F12, F13, and ESC keys with black lettering on a blue background.
