Setting up

Want to register a handset to more than one base station.

Want to allocate a handset with a handset number other than the next sequential one.

1At the base station press Function, then 8, then 8, then Function again.

2At the handset press OK then 9, then use the and buttons to scroll to the first empty location, indicated by a line of dashes in the display.

3Press OK. The telephone icon flashes in the display.

4After a few seconds the display shows four dashes (- - - - ) to prompt you to enter the handset security code

5Enter the code that is on the base station, either 0000 or whatever you have changed it to.

6Press OK and the display will show the available handset numbers (1-4).

7Press the number you want on the keypad - the display will show this number to indicate

that the handset is registered.
