2 Setting the Battery Switch

The switch on the back of your Pocket PC V35 should be switched to the ON (down) position. If this is not the case, please set it to ON.

1Make sure that theV35 is turned off.

2Unscrew the rear cap of your stylus. Use the pointed end of the cap to slide the battery switch to the ON (down) position.

3The Notification indicator will flash red for approximately 30 seconds, and then your V35 will automatically turn on and display the Welcome Wizard screen.

IMPORTANT: Keep the battery switch set to ON (down position) unless you need to restore factory defaults.

3 Charging the Battery

Connect your V35 to an AC power source.

1Plug the V35 into the USB cradle.

NOTE: You can also connect the V35 directly to the AC adapter without using the USB cradle. For more information see “Battery Charging Options” in this chapter.

2Plug the appropriate end of the AC adapter into the power connector on the USB cable.
