12. Troubleshooting Guide

While Using

Check the following:

1.Cannot make a call (there is no dial tone).

ÆCheck the phone installation. Also check the connection between the Gatekeeper and the Phone.

2.Cannot make a call (there is a dial tone but no ringing).

ÆCheck the connection to the Gatekeeper or contact the administrator.

3.Cannot make a call (no response).

ÆContact the administrator.

4.Can hear through the handset but cannot hear through the speaker phone.

ÆCheck if the headset adapter is plugged in.

5.Phone not ringing when there is an incoming call.

ÆCheck if DND(Do Not Disturb) is enabled. You will see a smile icon on the LCD screen.

6.Set time server and offset, but time not displayed correctly.

ÆCheck the network mode.

If set to DHCP mode, the time server IP address and its offset won’t be reflected.

Note: If you keep having problems, contact your administrator.
