6.3How to turn off the answering machine

You can turn off the answering machine either through the base or the handset.

Through the base:

1Press oto turn off the answering machine.

disappears on the handset screen and --displays on the base LED.

Through the handset:

1Press <and u/dto select Answer

6.4 How to listen to the new message(s) and the old message(s)

When new messages are recorded on the

answering machine, is flashing on the handset display and the LED on base blinks until all the new messages are played. Old messages will be played after all new messages are played completely and remains steadily on and the message counter

LED stays steady to indicate the number of old messages stored in the answering machine.

Listen to new messages through the base:

1Press Pto start playing the new

messages

The new messages in the sequence they are recorded are played from the loudspeaker on the

base station.

2Press Vto adjust the loudspeaker volume during message playback.

Note

Five levels of loudspeaker volume are available.

Listen to new messages through the handset:

1Press <and u/dto select Answer

2Press <to select Play

3Press <to start playing new messages (if there are messages received)

The new messages in the sequence they are

recorded are played from the speakerphone on the handset.

Note

If there are no messages in your answering machine, No messages! will display on the handset screen and return to previous screen.

Available functions during message playback:

Tip

You can also access the answer machine feature by pressing uin idle mode, press u/dto select TAM, press <to select Play. Press < to start playing the messages.

6.5How to delete all messages

1 Press <to access the main menu

2 Press u/dto select Answer Machine

3 Press <and u/dto select Delete All 4 Press <to confirm

5 Press <to reconfirm deletion of all your messages.

Note

Unread messages cannot be deleted.
