When you see the welcome message, press [OK].
Select your country and press [SELECT] to confirm.
»» The country setting is saved.

Install the handset

Caution

•• Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard batteries in fire.

•• Use only the supplied batteries.

•• Risk of decreased battery life! Never mix different brands or types of batteries.

Note

•• Charge the batteries for 16 hours before first use.

Warning

•• Check the battery polarity when inserting in the battery compartment. Incorrect polarity may damage the product.

AThe batteries are pre-installed in the handset. Pull the battery tape off from the battery door before charging.

Check the battery level

When the handset is off the base station/ charger, the icon indicates the battery level: Full (steady on)

Medium (flashing)

Low (empty)

When you see the empty battery icon and hear an alert tone from the handset, the battery level is low and needs recharging.

When the handset is on the base station/

charger, the battery icon keeps flashing until charging completes.

When the charging completes, the battery icon keeps steady on.

BPlace the handset on the base station to charge the handset.

Note

•• If the handset becomes warm when the batteries are being charged, it is normal.

Set the country

To make the phone work, select your country.
