Press a Scan key or the Scan Trigger (on handle) to initiate a scan with the Pegaso.

2.Aim the scan window at the bar code as shown in Figure 12.

3.Press the <Scan> key or trigger. The laser scans as long as you hold the button or trigger, or for 10 seconds, or until a good scan is obtained.

4.Aim the laser beam at the center of the bar code.

Position the unit close to bar code when scanning small bar codes.

Position it at a distance when scanning larger bar codes.

The laser is disabled after you release the key or after 10 seconds, or once a good scan is obtained.
