Private Calls

In some areas, callers have the option of blocking their Caller ID information. When a caller has blocked Caller ID, the sys- tem displays –PRIVATE CALL– instead of the call informa- tion.

Line Error

If there is an error in the Caller ID information transmission, -LINE ERROR- appears on the display.

Note: Minor electrical disturbances can affect the caller ID in- formation. Occasional errors are normal. If the system fre- quently displays -LINEERROR-, contact your local telephone company for assistance with the phone line or your local RadioShack store for assistance with the Caller ID sys- tem.
