Trouble

Board thickness does not match digital display

Chain jumping

Machine will not start/restart or repeatedly trips circuit breaker or blows fuses.

Probable Cause	Remedy
Digital display not calibrated properly.	Follow calibration procedures.
Inadequate chain tension.	Adjust chain tension.
Sprockets misaligned.	Align sprockets.
Sprockets worn.	Replace sprockets.
No incoming power.	Verify unit is connected to power, and
	main switch is set to “I”.
	When planer overloads on the circuit
	breaker built into the motor starter, it
	takes time for the machine to cool
Overload automatic reset has not	down before restart. Allow unit to
reset.	adequately cool before attempting
	restart. If problem persists, check
	amp setting on the motor starter
