If you remove the headset from the handset you should cover the holes with the attached tab to make sure dust and dirt is kept away from the contacts.

Note

To use the Freeway headset, press the PTT (Press To Talk) switch on the headset to make a call and release it to receive a call. You can also adjust the volume level by using the volume buttons on your Freeway handset.
