While special grounding is not generally required to VHF radiotelephone install- ations, it is a good marine practice to properly ground all electronic equipment to the ship's ground system. The RAY210 can be connected to ground by attach- ing a wire to one of the RF connector screws on the unit's rear panel and then to the nearest ship's ground connection point.
