Programming the DXI665 Base

For convenience,the Base Unit has ten memory locations, so you can store the numbers you most often call without your Handset in the Base Unit. The programming functions must be completed while the phone is in standby, since the programming keys do not function while you are on the phone.

Storing a Number

1.Press mem .

2.Enter the number you want to store (up to 16 digits).

3.If a pause is needed during dialing to access a long distance service, press pause .

Note: The pause button counts as one digit. Pressing pause more than once increases the length of the pause between numbers.

4.Press mem again.

5.Enter the memory location (0-9).

A tone indicates that the number is stored.
