Deleting Information from the Caller ID List

The EXI2246 series stores up to 30 messages. If the phone receives the 31st mes- sage, the oldest one in the list is automatically deleted. Caller ID data can also be deleted manually.

While using the

¨Delete All?¨ or

¨Delete Message?¨ screen if no key is pressed for more than 30 seconds, an error tone sounds and the telephone returns

to standby.

If you get an incoming call or page, the deleting operation is canceled and the telephone returns to standby so you can answer the call

or page.

Deleting a Caller ID message

1)Press call id/menu. Display the message to be deleted from

the Caller ID list by pressing or .

2)Press delete/ch.

3)Press or to select ¨Yes¨ or ¨No¨.

4)Press select or delete/ch.

When the pointer is at ¨Yes¨:

A tone sounds and the Caller ID message is deleted. The next Caller ID message is then displayed.

When the pointer is at ¨No¨:

The display returns to the Caller ID message.

Deleting all Caller ID names/numbers

1)Press call id/menu.

2)Press delete/ch.
