Even when the battery pack is not being used, it will gradually discharge over a long period of time. For optimum performance, be sure to return the handset to the base unit after a telephone call for charging the battery.

If you must replace the battery pack during a telephone call, complete the replacement within 30 second, and you may return to the caller.

Battery use time (per charge)

From fully charged

Six hours continuous use.

Ten days when the handset is in the standby mode.

Low Battery Indicator

When the battery pack in the handset is low and needs to be charged, the

indicator flashes.

If this occurs while you are on the phone, you will hear an alert tone. Complete your call as quickly as possible and return the handset to the base for charging.

Cleaning the Battery Contacts

To maintain a good charge,it is important to clean all battery contacts on the handset and base about once a month.

Use a dry cloth or pencil eraser, if necessary.

Do not use any liquids or solvents.
