A tone sounds and all stored Caller ID messages are deleted.

The display returns to the summary screen.

You can place a call from the Caller ID list. The TRU548 stores up to 50 messages.

1 Press . Select the phone number that you want to dial by pressing or ª .

2 Press . The displayed phone number dials automatically.

Long Distance calls and Area Code Setting/Cancellation

Pressing while the incoming Caller ID information is displayed (in step 1) will place the prefix “1” in the display to set up for a long distance call. Pressing will set or cancel an area code setting.

Dial edit

You can temporarily edit the Caller ID number that is displayed by pressing

. A cursor appears in the display. Press to move the cursor

left, make your changes, and then press . This will not change the number in the Caller ID list memory. If you want to save this new number, store the information in memory (See page 35).
