D E L E T I N G I N F O R M A T I O N F R O M T H E C A L L E R I D L I S T

The TRU 246 stores up to 50 messages. If the phone receives the 51st message, the oldest one in the list is automatically deleted.

Caller ID data can also be deleted manually.

Deleting a Caller ID message

1 Press

Display the message to be deleted from the

Caller ID list by pressing

or

.

2 Press .

3 Press or to select “Yes” or “No”.

4 Press

or

.

When the pointer is at “Yes”:

A tone sounds and the Caller ID message is deleted. The next Caller ID message is then displayed.

When the pointer is at “No”:

The display returns to the Caller ID display.

C A L L E R I D F E A T U R E S

If you get an incoming call or page, the deleting operation is cancelled. The telephone returns to standby so you can answer the call or page.
