Calling a party from the Caller ID list

You can place a call from the Caller ID list. The TRU 246 stores up to 50 messages.

1	Press	.
	Select the phone number that you want to dial
	by pressing	or	.
2	Press	.

The displayed phone number will be dialed automatically.

Long Distance call and Area Code setting

Pressing while the incoming call information is displayed (in step 1) will set or cancel a Long

Distance call. Pressing will set or cancel the area code setting.

Dial edit

You can edit the phone number of Caller ID data when you press after step 1.

•You cannot make a call from the Caller ID list if your TRU 246 is connected to private branch exchange (PBX).

•When a long distance call has been set, “1” appears in the display.
