le XC345 has dual keypads: one in the Handset, and one on the Base Unit. lis is like having two phones because most operations can be performed ;ing either the Handset or the Base Units.

Note 1: Sometimes

when you press ~

to hang up the phone, you may gE

an error tone and the phone will not disconnect. If this happens,

place the Handset on the Base Unit or press ~

again while

holding the Handset close to the Base Unit.

Note 2: If the Handset is lifted from the cradle while the Base Unit is engage with the outside line, the Base Unit will resume to Standby Mode ani the Handset will switch to TALK Mode.
