System Reset

De-register the Handset

1) Enter the System Reset menu, and then the Deregister HS submenu (see “Entering the Menu” on page 11).

2) Press . Deregister HS? appears.

3)Press /vol/ or /vol/ to select Yes.

4)Press . You will hear a confirmation tone. When de-registration is complete, Deregistration

Complete appears.

5) After de-registering the handset, move to “Replacing the Base Setting” below.

Replacing the Base Setting

1)

Enter the System Reset menu, and then the Replacing

Replace base?

 

Base submenu (see “Entering the Menu” on page 11).

 

Replace base? appears.

Yes

2)

Press /vol/ or /vol/ to select Yes.

No

3)Press . You will hear a confirmation tone. The base information will be deleted.

When replacing the base is complete, Place handset on main base to register appears, register the handset to the new base.

4)Place the handset in the base unit to begin registration.

5)While the handset is registering, “Handset Registering” will appear in the LCD. When “Registration Complete” is displayed, the handset has been registered to the base.

If “Registration Failed” appears, please try these steps again.

Make sure to perform the Replacing Base after de-register the handset.
