Installing the Base Unit

1)Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN 9V jack and to a standard AC wall outlet.

2)Connect the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack and to a telephone socket on the wall.

For wall mounting, see “Mounting the Base Unit on a Wall” on page 5.

Make sure the AC Adapter remains switched ON at all times. Use only the Uniden AC Adapter supplied with this unit.
