Preparation: Press [, OPR OFF, FUNCTION] to select CD or SD.

Boosting the bass

Press [S-XBS].

Each time you press the button:

S-XBS()Cancel (no indicator)

Direct play:

Start play from a specific track

1.Press the character/numbered buttons to select track.

For tracks numbered 10 and over, press [S10] then the two digits.

For tracks numbered 100 and over, press [S10] twice then the three digits.

You can also press [:] or [9] to select the track.

“ERROR” appears if you enter a number that doesn’t exist on the disc or card.

2.Press [1/;, CD] or [1, SD].

Play starts at the selected track and plays through to the end of the disc or card.

In the “`” mode, you can also skip and search be- tween the first and last tracks. (You cannot skip or search back from the first track to the last track when playing a CD.)

You cannot skip or search back to tracks that have been played in random or random repeat.

CD program play:

Play up to 24 tracks in the order you

choose

1Press the numbered buttons while stopped to select a track.

For tracks numbered 10 and over, press [S10] then the two digits.

You can also select tracks with [:] or [9].

“ERROR” appears if you enter a number that doesn’t exist.

2Press [ENTER/MEMORY].

Program sequence

3Repeat steps 1 and 2 to program other tracks.

4Press [1/;, CD].

The program is cleared when play finishes.

“PROGRAM FULL” is displayed

If you have programmed 24 tracks.

To check the contents of the program

Press [ENTER/MEMORY] during play.

The track numbers and their sequence appear in order, one after the other.

Playback

To clear the program

Press [, OPR OFF, FUNCTION] during play.

Note:

You cannot program tracks on an SD card.

Tracks are skipped in the programmed order when you press [:] or [9].
