Troubleshooting guide

Before requesting service, make the below checks. If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies indicated in the chart do not solve the problem:

In Canada, contact Panasonic Canada Inc. Customer Care Centre at 905-624-5505, web site (www.panasonic. ca), or an authorized Servicentre close to you.

In other areas, consult your dealer.

No operation.

The hold function is on. 9

 

The disc or card isn’t correctly set. 9

 

The batteries are depleted. If not, try reinserting them.

 

The AC adaptor isn’t connected fully. 7

 

The disc or card is scratched or dirty. Replace the disc or card if it is

 

scratched.

 

There is moisture on the disc or card. Wipe dry.

 

There is moisture on the lens. Wait for about an hour and then try again.

 

If the unit malfunctions or freezes during use, disconnect the power

 

sources (the AC adaptor or batteries).

 

Re-connect the power source and continue operation.

Cannot recharge the batteries.

You aren’t using the special rechargeable batteries. 5

Cannot play tracks on an SD

Make sure the card has tracks recorded on it. “NO TRACK” appears if the

Maintenance

If the surfaces are dirty

The surface of the cabinet is polished.

Use the included cloth to clean it.

Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this unit.

Maintaining the lens

Open the lid and clean the lens as shown in the figure. Use a cotton swab to gently wipe off any finger-prints. Recommended product: Lens cleaner kit (SZZP1038C)
