Saving preset channels in memory

You can save your favorite channels for quick access as follows:

1.When listening to your favorite channel, press and hold the MODE key for 2 seconds to display a pop-up menu.

2.Use the or keys to choose a

channel number (16 channels provided) for saving the preset channel.

3.Press the key to confirm your selection. The current channel is saved at the location you specified.

To listen to the preset channels, press and hold the key for 2 seconds to display a list of preset channels. Use the or keys to select the desired channel and the key to confirm your selection.

Recording FM radio

To use the record function of your Joybee 180 to record your favorite programs from FM radio channels, do the following:

1.When listening to your favorite chan- nel, press the key to start recording.

2.Press the key to pause recording and press it again to resume recording.

3.Press the key or press and hold the key for 2 sec- onds to stop recording.

All recorded programs are saved as WAV files with filenames such as FM0001.WAV. The number at the end of the filenames refers to the order in which the programs were recorded. These files are saved under the FMRadio folder on the Joybee 180. Use the procedure described in "Playing back recorded voice/FM files" on page 30 to listen to your recorded programs. The repeat play and equalizer functions are also available when you play back a recorded program. Refer to "Repeat play" on page 25 and "Selecting an EQ mode" on page 26 for more details.
