Enter in the line OLD PASSWORD the valid password with the number buttons. The tab chan- ges to the next line NEW PASSWORD.

Enter the new password with the number buttons. The tab changes to the next line CONFIRM PW.

Enter the new password with the number buttons. The tab changes to the OK field.

Press the button OK/ENTER. The password has now been changed.

EXIT SETUP

Select the last menu in the toolbar and press the button OK/ENTER to exit the setup menu.

9. Sound functions

9.1 To control the Volume

Press the button VOL+ o to increase the volume. Press the button VOL- a to decrease the volume.

9.2 Mute

Press the MUTE button to switch off the sound.

To switch the sound on again press the MUTE button once more or press one of the buttons VOL+ or VOL-.

10.Playback of DVD, SVCD, VCD and CD discs

Note:

In the event that you forget your password you can use the factory default password (888888).

10.1 Inserting the disc

• Open the disc tray of the DVD player by

pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button.

"OPEN" will now appear in the display.

Place a DVD/VCD/S-VCD with the inscribed/ labelled side facing up in the disc tray.

Close the flap of the disc tray.

"LOAD" will appear in the display.

The contents of the inserted DVD/VCD/S-VCD will now be loaded; this may take a few se- conds.

Playback of the inserted DVD/VCD/S-VCD starts automatically.
