Sounds and Alarm Sound Styles

Sounds triggered by key strokes and alarms can be adjusted. The unit has an internal speaker (controlled using the Pizeo Volume slider) for playing alarms and notification beeps, and is also capable of playing sounds through an external speaker connected to the power port (con- trolled using the LineOut Volume slider).

To make adjustments to either of these speakers, you first press MENUMENUto SOUNDSENT.

Once in the Sounds menu:

To adjust LineOut or Pizeo Volume: Press or to select the speaker type you wish to adjust, then press to decrease the speaker's volume or to increase it.

To set Key Sounds: With the option highlighted, press ENT to check it (turn on) and uncheck it (turn off). After the option is set, press EXITEXIT to return to the page display.

To set Alarm Sounds: Press to ALARM SOUNDS. With the option high- lighted, press ENT to check it (turn on) and uncheck it (turn off). After the option is set, press EXITEXIT to return to the page display.

To set Alarm Style: Press to ALARM STYLEENT. Press or to change the style, then press ENT. After the option is set, press EXITEXIT to return to the page display.
