Turning the Player On and Off

Turning the Player On and Off

There are several ways to turn the PMP on.

Power Button

The most common way to turn on the PMP is by pressing the Power Button.

AC Adapter

The AC Adapter has the ability to completely power your player regardless of the battery state. If you plug in an AC Adapter, your PMP will turn on. However, if you have a USB Cable plugged in, you must remove it if you want the player to be powered up by plugging in an AC Adapter.

USB Cable

The USB Cable does not have the ability to completely power your player under all conditions. If you plug in the USB Cable, the player will power on if your battery is sufficiently charged. If you plug in the USB Cable and the player does not power on, it may take up to 30 minutes to charge the battery enough so the player will power on by itself.
