Supported Content

The PMP can display these picture formats:

• JPEG (.jpg)

If using the “Removable Disk” (Mass Storage) option to transfer files, the picture files must be in the “Pictures”directory in order for the PMP to recognize the content.

Invalid file formats or pictures of very large file size / very high resolution cannot be displayed and are shown as a generic photo image with a red X. If these are encountered, transfer the photos to the PMP using Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player will convert the photos to an acceptable format when transferring them to the PMP.

The PMP creates thumbnails of the images to improve navigation. If many pictures are transferred to the PMP at one time, it may take several minutes for the images to be scaled. During this time, a processing image will be shown when viewing the thumbnail picture viewer.
