The Remaining Battery Charge icon indicates the remaining time the battery can be used. The more the battery is used, the fewer the number of segments in the icon. For some batteries or rechargeable dry cells, the number of segments in the battery icon may increase or decrease irregularly while the remaining charge is measured, but this is normal.

When the battery runs out and the icon starts blinking, the power is automatically turned off after about 30 minutes.

The memory usage is displayed in the MP3 Player mode while the player is stopped.

If the built-in memory is 128Mbyte, 1 segment of the icon indicates about 21MByte (128Mbyte ÷ 6).his icon becomes animated in the MP3 Player mode, and the icon becomes animated in the FM mode.

When ID3V2 or ID3V1 tag is used, the disk icon is used and the Artist + Album information is displayed. When the display setting is ‘Filename’, or the tag does not include the Artist information, the folder icon is used and the folder name is displayed. When the song is contained in the root, "iAUDIO" is displayed in the folder name.
