5. Battery Type

This is the menu to directly set the battery type used.

Since the measurement of the Remaining Battery Charge depends on the battery type, you need to choose the correct one.

You can choose either ‘Alkaline’ or ‘Rechargeable.’ We officially recommend a 1.2 to 1.5V nickel hydride fast rechargeable dry cell or alkaline battery for iAUDIO.

Select ‘Battery Type’ and press the ‘Menu’ button. Then choose a battery type with the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons.
