Earphone Jack

Plug-in the earphones here.

AV Line-Out Jack

Plug-in the AV cable here to enable AV Line-Out to the

external display (TV).

AV Line-In Jack

Plug-In the AV cable here to enable AV Line-In recording.

 

 

 

4.

USB Connector

Connect the mini USB connector of the supplied USB cable

here, and the other end to the PC host.

 

 

 

 

 

5.

DC-In Jack

Plug-in the AC Adapter here to recharge battery.

 

 

 

6.

"B" Power LED

This LED illuminated when the media player has power on

and flashes (DMP740 only) when the battery is charging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"R" Record LED

This LED is illuminated during recording.

 

 

 

 

"T" Thermal LED

This LED flashes when the temperature is too high for

 

the hard drive to safely operate. Turn the unit off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Push up for 1-second to turn On/turn Off the media

Power On/Off

player. If the unit should lock up due to a corrupt file

or error, the power switch should be pushed up and held

 

 

 

 

for about 5-seconds till the unit resets and turns off.

 

 

 

 

Lock Switch

Push down with power On to lock all keys. All key press

 

commands are disabled to prevent unwanted operation.

 

 

 

 

 

8.

"R" Key

Press to start/ stop recording adjust brightness during video

playback, or to adjust volume during video or music playback.

 

 

 

 

 

9.

"M" Key

Press to go back to Main Menu.

 

 

 

10.

"E" Key

Press to stop or return to the previous menu or mode.

 

 

 

11.

Speaker

Built-in speaker.

 

 

 

12.

IR Receiver

Implements commands from remote control.

 

 

 

13.

MIC

Built-in Microphone for voice recording.

 

 

 

14.

LCD Display

Displays menus and videos/pictures (DMP740 only).

 

 

 

15.

MS slot

Insert the MS/MS Duo card for data display.

 

 

 

16.

SD/MMC slot

Insert the SD/MMC card for data display.

 

 

 

17.

Navigation button

Navigates through menu options and selects option by

pushing the button in.

 

 

 

18.

Stand

Fold out to stand the media player on a flat surface.

 

 

 

19.

Electrical Conn.

Connector for docking video units.

 

 

 

20.

HDD Access Cover

Access cover to hard disk drive.

 

 

 

21.

Storage

Storage recess for HDD access cover.

 

 

 

22.

Reset

Resets media player - if software locks-up (see note).
