4.After connection is initialized, if your computer operating system fails to
recognize the media player as a hard disk, then go to [Device Manager] by clicking "Start""Setting""Control Panel""System""Hardware", and look for [Toshiba MK4025GAS] under [Disk Drive] to check connection sta- tus. If the connection is failed, you will not find under Disk Drives a drive with a similar name such as [Toshiba MK4025GAS or DMP740 USB Device or DMP040 USB Device] (this is the hard drive in the media player). Repeat this procedure from step 2 to connect the media player to your computer.
FOR SYSTEMS WITH WINDOWS 98SE

We strongly suggest that you do not format the media player’s hard disk! The display interfaces will not function correctly if the hard disk is formatted. If you do need to format hard disk, connect the media player to your computer first
