8.Push the Navigation button to the right. Message "Confirm? Yes No" will show on the display.

9.Push the Navigation button right or left to select Yes and press the Navigation button in to start to upgrade software. Or, select No to cancel the upgrade.

10.When the software upgrade completes, the system will restart automatically.

Upgrade Firmware

The media player firmware can be upgraded. You need a computer and the sup- plied USB cable for the following procedures:

NOTE: The DMP040 must have an external video display connected to view the screens.

NOTE: To prevent battery discharging while upgrading, we recom- mend that the AC Adapter be used.

1.Connect the media player to your computer with the USB cable.

2.Power on the media player to initialize it on your computer.
