Operation

Memorizing Channels

Before you can use any of the special channel buttons (CH , FAV.CH), the available channels must first be scanned and memorized. This is an easy, automatic process that typically takes two minutes. To memorize channels:

1 Press the MENU button on the remote control.

Use the Menu Up/Down buttons

2 to highlight the Channel icon and press ENTER.

Use the Menu Up/Down buttons to highlight Memorize Channels and press ENTER.

Use the Menu Up/Down but-

3 tons to select Air or Cable (STD, HRC or IRC).

Press ENTER.

Check Signal Strength

Memorize Channels

Air

HRC

IRC

That’s it. The Set-Top Box will automatically scan and store all

4 ofarea.the digital (DTV) channels that are available in your local

5 Press EXIT when channel memorization is complete.

NOTES

The Set-Top Box MUST be connected to an antenna in order to receive digital TV signals.

Even if a particular channel is deleted from the memory, you can always tune to that chan- nel directly by using the number buttons on the remote control.
