Connecting earphone

Connect the earphone plug securely to the PHONE JACK on the player. To listen to music through the earphone, first use the VOLUME CONTROL on the left side of the main unit to lower the volume to minimum level, then adjust the volume to comfortable level. Be careful not to set the volume to too high a level when using the earphone.

Note: Insert the headphone plug securely. No sound will be heard if the earphone is securely connected.

Note:

It is not possible to hear the sound of DTS-compatible DVDs over the earphone. High noise levels are produced when DTS discs are played, so do not listen to such discs through the earphone.
