1Press OPEN button to open.

(If no disk is in place, the tray will open automatically after power on.)

2Without a power supply, the tray will not open automatically; you must insert the open-stick into the hole to open it.

3Position disc and press down the disc with your fingers near the centre hole.

A click is heard.

Notes:

ƒSet the disc securely. Failure to set it securely could result in damage.

ƒDo not use cracked or warped discs. Doing so could result in damage.

ƒPosition single-sided DVDs or CDs with the label (printed) side facing upwards. For double-sided DVDs, check each side carefully, then position the disc securely (until a click is heard).

ƒFor CDs or single-sided DVDs, you do not have to worry about touching the label (printed) side of the disc with your fingers. Since double-sided DVDs, however, have signals recorded on both sides, be careful not to scratch them when removing them from the player.

4Push the tray into the player. The player starts loading.
