Radio Operation

AM/FM Tuning

1 Press POWER on.

The power LED is green on.

2 Press FUNCTION button.

Press FUNCTION button repeatedly until “FM” or “AM” appears in the DVD display.

3 Press BAND button.

Press the BAND button to select a possible frequency band. (FM or AM)

4 Press the -Tuning + ( or ) but- tons to tune into the desired station.

Manual Tuning

!Press the cursor (< or >) buttons as many times as required to adjust the frequency shown on the DVD display to the frequency of possible station.

Auto Scan Tuning

!When each time the -Tuning+ ( or ) buttons is pressed, scanning will start automatically searching the first receivable broadcast station to tune in.

NOTE:

!When radio interference occurs during auto scan tuning, auto scan may stop automatically at that point.

!If a weak station frequency is found during auto scan tuning, the station will be skipped.

!If a radio station tuned in is weak, you may slightly adjust the frequency with the manual tuning the cursor (< or >) buttons

!“Stereo” will appear on the DVD display when an FM station broadcast in stereo.

Preset Tuning

You can store up to 75 stations in memory (50 FM stations + 25 AM stations) and recall them simply by pressing the buttons.

To Store Stations Into Memory

1 Perform Steps 1 - 4 in the “Tuning” section.

2 Press MEMORY button.

“MEMORY” will flash on the DVD display. Press “MEMORY” once again to store the station in numerical order, starting FM 01 or AM 01.

!You can store the station in the selected station number.

For example:

FM 12: Press 12 from number buttons on the remote control and press “MEMORY” twice.

To Recall a Stored Station

1 Press POWER on.

The power LED is green on.

2 Press FUNCTION button to tuner.

3 Press the -PRESET + ( or ) buttons to select the desired station among stored stations.

The stations number will appear in the display in numerical order.

To clear a Stored Station

1 Press POWER on.

The power LED is green on.

2 Press FUNCTION button to tuner.

3 Press the -PRESET + ( or ) buttons to select the stored station you want to clear.

4 Press CLEAR button.
