General Radio Operation

Use the Preprogrammed Volume Set Button

1Turn the radio on and select the desired zone and channel. See Turn the Radio On, page 17 and Zones and Channels, page 18.

2Press and hold the Volume Set button to hear the volume set tone.

3Release the Volume Set button.

4Adjust the Volume Control

Knob if necessary.

5Press and hold the PTT button to transmit. LED lights RED while transmitting.

6Release the PTT button to receive (listen).
