18 Using your mobile radios

With VOX active:

1.Press button 4 times.

2.The display shows the current sensitivity level (flashing) along with I.

3.Press or to select the sensitivity level:

1 – Low sensitivity, for noisy environments.

2 – Medium sensitivity, for most environments.

3 – High sensitivity, for quiet environments.

Using a Freeway headset

Your headset can be used for VOX operation or PTT press operation.

1.Turn anti-clockwise to switch the radio off.

2.Insert the headset plug into the headset socket.
