20 Using your mobile radios

If you do not wish to use VOX on your headset you will need to disable it.

To disable VOX, press the PTT button on your radio.

Once VOX is disabled you can still use your headset but to transmit your voice you will now need to press the PTT button on the handset.

To receive transmissions release the PTT button.
