SETTING THE CLOCK

While the unit is off (the clock appears in the display), press the STOP ( )/TIME SET/ POWER OFF button;the hour digit(s) will blink in the display.

To set the hour, press the TIME-/ TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH button to decrease and/or theo TIME

+/1 TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH button to increase the hourn. Press and2 hold either button for rapid searching.

When the hour is set, press the STOP ( )/TIME SET/POWER OFF buttonagain; the minute digits will blink in the display.

To set the minute, press the

TIME -/TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH

o button 1 to decrease and/or

the

TIME

+/TUNING/SKIP/

SEARCH n button 2 to increase

the minute. Press and hold either

button for rapid searching.

PRESET EQ

When the minute is set, press the STOP ( )/TIME SET/POWER OFF buttonagain; the clock will be set and the colon will blink.

TURNING THE UNIT ON/OFF

SELECTING BETWEEN CD AND RADIO MODE

With the power on, press the EQ/TIMER button to cycle through the preset EQ settings or to turn the EQ off. Each press of the PRESET EQ button will cycle as follows: JAZZ, ROCK, POP, CLASSIC, Off.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE ( )/ POWER ON button or RADIO®p AM/FM/POWER ON1button to turn the unit on; the display will2light brightly. Press the STOP ( )/TIME SET/POWER OFF button while in the CD stop mode or3Radio mode to turn the unit off.

If the unit is in CD mode, press the RADIO AM/FM/POWER ON button to change to Radio mode OR1 If the unit is in RADIO mode, press the PLAY/PAUSE ( )/POWER ON button to

change®p to CD mode. 2
