To advance or rewind the tape rapidly, press either the F.FWD (√√) 1 or REWIND (®®) 2 button. When you reach the desired point, press the PLAY (√) button 3 to resume normal playback.

PLAYING CASSETTE TAPES

Slide the Function switch to the TAPE/OFF position to select Tape.

Press the STOP/EJECT ( ) button to open the cassette compartment. Insert a pre-recorded cassette into the slots in the cassette door with the open end facing up and the full reel on the right side. Close the cassette door.

Press the PLAY (√) button to begin		Adjust the VOLUME control 1 and
playback.		BASS BOOST button 2 as desired.
		Press the BASS BOOST button 2 to the
5		“in” position to enhance the bass sound.

To pause playback momentarily, press the PAUSE ( ) button. The tape movement stops but the tape motor is still running. Press the PAUSE ( ) button again to release pause andpresume normal playback.
