AM/FM, poor sound.
Slide the FUNCTION con- trol to RADIO.
Increase volume. Retune the AM or FM broadcast station. Reorient FM telescopic antenna.
Rotate unit until best reception is obtained.
Erratic playback. AM or FM, no sound.
Increase volume.
Try another disc. Clean or replace disc.
No sound.
Try another disc.
Wipe disc with soft cloth.
CAUSE AC cord not connected.
CD compartment door not closed. Disc inserted incorrectly.
Dirty or defective CD. Moisture condensation on disc. VOLUME control set to minimum. Defective disc.
Dirty or defective disc.
Power is not on.
Volume set too low. Station is not tuned properly.
FM: Telescopic antenna is not properly adjusted. AM: Unit is not pos- itioned correctly.
SOLUTION Check AC cord connection.
Close CD compartment door.
Reinsert disc correctly.
