Upgrade Software

The media player software can be upgraded. It requires a computer and the sup- plied USB cable for the following procedures:

NOTE: The DMP040 must have an external video display connected to view the screens.

NOTE: To prevent battery discharging while upgrading, we recommend that the AC Adapter be used.

1.Connect the media player to your computer with the USB cable.

2.Power on the media player to initialize it on your computer.

3.Download a media player upgrade file from website (www.directedmobileme- dia.com) and save it into the media player root directory. Double click to run the upgrade file, and select "Replace all" on pop-up message to replace old files.

4.Disconnect the media player from your computer.

5.Select Setting from main menu and press the Navigation button in to enter.

6.Push the Navigation button left or right to select Info tab.

7.Push the Navigation button up or down to select Update Software.
