Permit the switched off appliance to come to a complete standstill before putting it down.

Use only the accessories detailed in the operating instructions. The use of in- serted tools or accessories other than those recommended in the operating instructions could lead to you suffering an injury.
Before use
Selecting the Grinding Disc
Metal Removal and Surface:
The rate of metal removal and the surface quality are determined by the grain size of the grinding disc.
lease note that corresponding grinding discs with different grain sizes should be used for processing different materials.
Changing sanding sheets
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Before carrying out work on the appliance, always re- move the plug from the power socket.
The rotary sander is fitted with a velcro rapid attach- ment, making possible a quick and easy exchange of sanding sheets.
Lift the grinding disc 5 at the side and pull it off from the backing pad 4 in order to remove it.
Note: Before securing a new sanding sheet 5 , remove all dust and dirt from the sander plate 4 . Ensure that the openings in the sanding sheet 5 concur with the boreholes of the sanding plate 4 .
Dust / Swarf Removal by Suction
Please note the “Safety instructions” section.
Removal by Suction with Dust Collector: Push the dust collector 3 completely onto the device.
In order to empty the dust collector 3 pull it off the device.
Note: Empty the dust collector 3 in good time and regularly in order to ensure the opti- mum removal of dust by suction.
External Exhaust Suction (see Illustration A): Connection:
Push the adapter for external exhaust suction 7 on to the exhaust nozzle 6 and turn it clock- wise to fix it in place. If necessary, use the re- ducing piece 8 by pushing it into the adapter for external exhaust suction 7 .
Push the hose of an approved suction device (e.g. a workshop vacuum cleaner) on to the adapter for external exhaust suction 7 , using the reducing piece if necessary 8 .
Removal:
Pull the hose of the suction device off the adapter for external exhaust
Turn the adapter for external exhaust suction 7 in an anticlockwise direction and pull it off with the reducing piece 8 if necessary.

Note! Always switch the rotary sander on before applying it to the material to be worked, then make contact with it.
When operating the device you can select between intermittent or continuous operation mode:
