4.Carefully slide the base off of the driver and remove the large washer and rub- ber bumper (see Figure 9).

5.Use a flat head screwdriver to pry off the whack cap shown in Figure 10.

6.Loosen the exhaust covers and remove the cap screws from the cylin- der cover. Slide the cylinder cover off of the plunger.

7.Unscrew the cap screws and remove the plunger (see Figure 11).

8.Grab onto the driver and pull the piston assembly out from the bottom.

9.Unscrew the piston and driver from the piston assembly (see Figure 12).

10.Apply a thin film of nailer lubricating oil on the O-rings, then place the new O- rings on the piston and the plunger.

11.Re-assemble the nailer in reverse order.
