2.Loosen the two screws (A) Fig. 25, and move the guides (B) as close as possible to the sides of the blade, being careful not to pinch the blade between the guides. Then tighten the two screws (A).

3.The front edge of the guide blocks (B) Fig. 25, should be adjusted so they are just behind the “gullets” of the blade teeth by loosening screw (C) Fig. 26, and moving shaft (D) in or out as desired. Then tighten screw (C).

4.The lower blade support bearing (E) Fig. 25, should be adjusted to support the rear of the blade during the cutting operation and also prevent the blade from being pushed too far to the back which could damage the set in the blade teeth. The support bearing (E) Fig. 25, should be set about 1/64" behind the blade by loosening screw (F) Fig. 26, and moving shaft (G) in or out. Then tighten screw (F).

5.The lower blade support bearing (E) Fig. 25, should also be adjusted so the back edge of the blade overlaps the outside diameter of the ball bearing by approximately 1/8 ". The bearing shaft (G) Fig. 26, is on an eccentric and to change position, loosen screw (F) and rotate shaft (G) until correct adjustment is made. Then tighten screw (F).

28-195 specifications

The Delta 28-195 is a renowned table saw that has garnered a reputation among woodworkers for its precision, reliability, and ease of use. This powerful tool is designed to handle a variety of cutting tasks, making it a versatile addition to any workshop.

One of the main features of the Delta 28-195 is its robust 1.75 HP motor, which delivers ample power for cutting through dense materials with ease. This performance is critical for both professional woodworkers and hobbyists who demand high-quality results. The saw operates on 120V power, allowing for convenient plug-and-play usage in most home workshops or job sites.

The Delta 28-195 boasts an impressive blade capacity of 10 inches, enabling users to make clean, precise cuts across a wide range of wood types and thicknesses. The table itself is generously sized, providing ample workspace for large projects and facilitating straightforward material handling. The table is also constructed from durable cast iron, ensuring stability while reducing vibrations during operation, which contributes to enhanced accuracy.

Another highlight of the Delta 28-195 is its advanced fence system. The fence is easy to adjust and locks securely in position, allowing for quick and accurate measurements for ripping tasks. The presence of a large and easy-to-read scale enhances operational efficiency, making it simple for woodworkers to set the desired dimensions before making their cuts.

Delta has also incorporated several safety features into the 28-195 model. The blade guard protects users from accidental contact with the spinning blade, while the riving knife helps prevent kickback, an essential aspect of safe table saw operation. Furthermore, the saw includes push sticks and other accessories to aid in maintaining safe distances from the blade during operations.

Dust collection is another critical area where the Delta 28-195 excels. Equipped with a 2.5-inch dust port, the saw connects easily to a dust collection system, helping to keep the workspace clean and reducing airborne particles, which can be harmful to health.

In conclusion, the Delta 28-195 table saw combines robust performance, advanced features, and enhanced safety, making it an excellent choice for both amateur and professional woodworkers. Its blend of technology, durability, and efficiency ensures that users can achieve precise cuts time and time again, making it a worthy investment for those serious about their craft.
