General directions for use
•Selection of arbor. Select the proper arbor for the holesaw size and your power drill. If the arbor has drive pins, make sure they are engaged. For arbors with drive pins, slide pin ring back, screw holesaw onto arbor to shoulder, and push ring with pins into holesaw while backing off holesaw if necessary.
•Feed rate. Maintain positive feed rate, and always start cutting square to the workpiece.
•Removal of chips. Chip removal is extremely important. Withdraw holesaw intermittently to prevent clogging.
•Operation speed. The cutting speeds recommended can be found in the instructions leaflet in the Holesaw Sets. Variations from these recommendations may be chosen from your own experience.
•Lubricants. Always use a lubricant when cutting metal, as this increases the life of the holesaw.
