,_ WARNING: Unplug the saw while removing or replacing the blade guard. Turn on the saw with

the switch on the arm to confirm the blade is not receiving power.

Remove the blade and blade guard (see Assembly section).

Place a support the same height as the saw table nearby for the cut work. Lower the blade with the elevating handwheel.

Make sure the wood is not touching the blade. Insert the key and turn on the saw. Let the blade build up to full speed before contacting the work- piece.

,_ WARNING: Always use pushblocks when making non-through rip cuts to avoid the risk of serious injury. Never feed wood with your hands.

When the work is completed, press the switch off and remove the key.
